Denis Delestrac (France, 1968) started his career as a writer and photographer. His first step into direction was with the series Nomads (2003). In 2009, he teamed with executive producer Mark Achbar and signed Pax Americana and the Weaponization of Space (2009), his first feature film as a director. His next film, Sand Wars (2013), was selected in over 40 festivals and won 15 awards.
